Star Wars: Episode 8 New Leak

The new leak from Star Wars: Episode 8 film talks about an emotional reunion between cast members. The details of the plot leak have been accessed by Zeroh, a Star Wars expert, from the Pinewood Studios, reports Metro.

As per the leak, Luke Skywalker aka Mark Hamill walks down the stone steps and goes inside the Millennium Falcon. He meets Chewbacca and R2-D2 who are sitting inside the Falcon. This reunion takes place after a long time, as per aforementioned source.

That being said, Luke Skywalker will also have a pool of memories rushing into his mind as he enters the Falcon. He is going to think about Han Solo. It has not been revealed whether Luke will learn about Han’s death in this scene. He might come to know about it soon in Star Wars: Episode 8.

It is interesting to note that, this scene is likely to happen just after Rey meets Luke on the intergalactic planet Ahch-To. In that scene at the end, she hands over the lightsaber to Luke. Perhaps at this moment, he wishes to meet the people with whom she has traveled with to this planet.

But nowhere in the leak has it been mentioned if Rey follows Luke to the Millennium Falcon. This drops a potential question. Has Luke stopped her from accompanying her? Does he want to meet Chewbacca and R2-D2 alone?

Star Wars Cast Alec Guinness Talks His Role As Obi-Wan Kenobi

A 1977 interview of Guinness with British talk show host Michael Parkinson has been resurfaced reports, News.com.au. As per the report, in this interview, the late actor has revealed how he got this role and the funny fan mail’s he received at that time.

He says, “I’ve been getting some pretty strange letters” to the interviewer. He further adds that he and his wife once received a letter from a fan. This letter contained an out of box message. That is, “My wife and I’ve got problems, would you mind coming over and living with us for a few months?” as per aforementioned source.

Further, he talks about how he got into this role. After the Second World War, Guinness moved to Hollywood. He was then popular for his roles in Shakespearean theater. But when George Lucas approached him with the role and 2.5 percent of movies’ profits, he did not refuse it.

Even though Guinness has passed away, the Star Wars film franchise continues to bring its fans memorable films. He used to say that the popularity of the Star Wars films have something to do with its “marvelous, healthy innocence” as per aforementioned source.

It will be interesting to see if Star Wars: Episode 8 will recreate that same magic among its fans. Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set to hit the theaters on Dec.15, 2017. Directed by Rian Johnson, the film is the second installment of the Star Wars trilogy. Moreover, this is the last film where late Carrie Fisher will appear on screen playing General Leia Organa.
