Star Wars: Episode 8 is still a year away from its theatrical release and yet spoilers have incessantly emerged online. Recent spoilers reveal the magnitude of Luke Skywalker’s powers and tease that the sequel will give Han Solo a proper send-off.

Luke Skywalker destroys the Imperial Star Destroyer using his powers

One fan theory about the film concerns the revelation of the Jedi Master’s powers. He has reportedly developed his powers over the years of his solitude on the planet Ahch-To. Luke’s powers have become so great that he can single-handedly take down the enemy’s Star Destroyer.

Likewise, YouTuber Mike Zeroh said the sequel will reveal just how enormous his powers are. A scene on planet Ahch-To will show Luke Skywalker using The Force to destroy the Imperial ship. He uses the planet’s most abundant resource, which is water, to take down the Destroyer. He merely stands on the planet and uses The Force to blow up the Star Destroyer.

Interestingly, this theory aligns with a witness’ account about the filming for Star Wars: Episode 8. The source mentioned a Jedi Monastery was setup in Skellig Michael Island for one of Luke’s scenes. This scene supposedly involves the use of rain and wind machines.

Additionally, previous spoilers for the film tease Luke’s powers are so great he can disintegrate things into ashes. He reportedly burns one of Ahch-To huts using The Force.

Likewise, the film will give Han Solo a proper send-off

Carrie Fisher may have also accidentally revealed one of the major spoilers in the movie at the Star Wars Celebration Europe. During a panel interview, host Warwick Davis asked her thoughts about the timeline between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. Fisher replied, “Han Solo’s funeral.”

Apparently, Fisher misunderstood the question. She thought Davis meant the time period between Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: Episode 8. The actress immediately corrected her statement after realizing her mistake, according to Geek Feed.

However, it is already too late to get back those two meaningful words. Carrie Fisher may have subtly revealed that Star Wars: Episode 8 will have a Han Solo funeral scene.
