Earlier this year Harrison Ford seemed pretty pumped about starring in Star Wars: Episode VII but the actor has yet to officially announce himself joining the cast.
Back then when he was asked whether fans should expect his return, Ford was pretty vocal about his involvement saying “I think it’s almost true. I’m looking forward to it. It’s not in the bag yet, but I think it’ll happen, and I’m delighted.”
However, presently Ford is seeming less enthusiastic about the project. Appearing on the latest Graham Norton’s BBC chat show this week, Ford said that he has “not quite made the choice” over whether or not he’ll agree to play Han Solo in the film.
This also isn’t something new from the actor. Seems like as the project draws near, Ford responses are turning more vague as well. The full cast of Star Wars: Episode VII is going to be announced soon. According to a rumor, that may happen as soon as the end of next week. This leaves Ford with limited time of signing up. At this point fans should start considering the fact that the latest Star Wars installment may even go forth without Harrison.
The theory over his behavior is that Harrison is just trying to stall things so he can focus on promoting Ender’s Game, after which he’ll jump aboard.
Can you imagine watching the movie without Han Solo or perhaps a new face to fit in Ford’s shoes?
