“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will soon show the moviegoers the collaboration of established and new Hollywood stars. Some of those who will come back for the film that have been cast in previous installments include Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford. The actor has recently done an interview and shared how it feels like to work with their director.
People Magazine got the chance for this interview. He shared, “It was fun to work with [director] J.J. Abrams, who brought great energy, passion and clear focus to the whole event. So I had a good time.”
Ford also admitted that coming back as Han Solo has certain hesitations in him.
“It might have felt silly, but it didn’t,” Ford said.
“Star Wars: Return of the Jedi” became the pathway for Ford to earn his fame in Hollywood. Some avid fans of the franchise are theorizing that Han Solo and Princess Leia could have been married and bore a child who will have a pivotal scene in the “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
Regarding about this speculation and other theories, Ford explained, “I don’t worry about saying anything. I’m very comfortable with just keeping my mouth shut.”
Entertainment Weekly reported the accident Ford has encountered back in March wherein he expressed relief and gratitude that he survived it.
“I’ve been flying for 20 years, and it was a very rare thing to happen. It was a mechanical issue. No fault of the maintenance or anybody else. I got back in the helicopter first, because my foot was still in the cast, my toes were hanging out. It was the easiest aircraft to get into [that I’d still] be capable, and safe, to fly.I was glad that the character was still alive for me to play in this new iteration.” Ford said.
Indeed, he is the lone actor who will give justice to the portrayal of Han Solo for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
