December is the month of Christmas, cakes and cold. It’s one of the best months in a year and a movie for a date sounds absolutely fantastic with your special someone, in this holiday season and Nothing can beat a beat a date with includes a good movie, some popcorn and a dinner. According to Movie Web, here are a few good movies that are releasing this December as a treat!

Star Wars: The force awakens: get ready to be swayed with the magic, of the ‘Galaxy far far away’, when you can relive the nostalgia of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and the one and only Princess Leia, starring Harrison Ford, Mark Hamil, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver and others.

Krampus: The story about a kid who has a bad Christmas and somehow it gets cursed as he ends up letting a Christmas Demon inside his home.

Youth: The story of two friends, one is a music composer and a conductor and the other  is a film director, meets after ages and finds their meaning of life and relive it again.

The Revenant: Leonardo DiCaprio returns after a long break with this movie, which is based on a true story. The story unfolds the relentless survival strategy of the Native Americans, against John Fitzgerald in bleak winter.

The big short: A true story, based on the legendary contrarian investors, who figure a way out to “short” the market prior, before the impending recession of 2008.

Joy: A story of incessant duplicity, treason, heartbreak, murder of innocence, through which a girl approaches her womanhood, and becomes a feminist, with a star studded cast, consisting, Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro, Bradley cooper and others.

Apart from these, there would be a few releases like, ‘Macbeth, ‘In the Heart of the Sea’, ‘Sisters’, ‘Concussion’, ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road chip’, ‘Anomalisa’, ‘Regression’ and a few more. So what are you waiting for? Grab your tickets and spend a good time in this winter!
