There has been no better time to be a “Star Wars” fan than it is today, as more and more little pieces and tidbits of news, promotional videos, and interesting treats are being dropped almost every day as it gets closer and closer to December 18, 2015, the premiere date of the next installment in the “Star Wars” saga, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” Aside from the promotional videos, commercials, and first inside looks into an interesting new character, MARVEL comics will begin its “Vader Down” storyline in a crossover event encompassing the ongoing “Darth Vader” and “Star Wars” comic books. WARNING: This article will contain spoilers for the “Vader Down” crossover event, and will contain spoilers regarding “Star Wars #12.” Read on to learn the most recent “Star Wars” tidbits that have been shared with the rest of the known universe.

Even though several trailers and teasers have been released, there is still a lot that loyal “Star Wars” fans don’t know about the upcoming installment of “Star Wars,” “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” as director J.J. Abrams and Disney are very good at releasing just enough information that will still get fans and non-fans eager for more.

Just a few days ago, Empire magazine released an exclusive first look into a new character in the “Star Wars” universe who hadn’t yet been seen anywhere in the posters, teasers, comic books and trailers.

This new character is an alien named Zuvio, who is described as nails law enforcer who lives on a planet where lawlessness thrives.

Based on the first look picture that was released with the article online, Zuvio, dressed in a hat, mouth scarf, and a uniform, is standing in a planet that is seemingly comprised mostly of a sandy terrain.

Let’s now turn back time, as MARVEL’s ongoing “Star Wars” books, set right after “Star Wars-Episode IV: A New Hope,” is preparing to give fans of the films and comic book readers an event to remember as the big crossover event entitled “Vader Down” will begin this coming Wednesday, November 18, 2015.

This crossover event will begin with “Vader Down #1,” and will continue in several issues of “Darth Vader” and “Star Wars.”

According to Comic Book Resources, the story will begin with Darth Vader’s TIE fighter getting shot down, leaving him stranded on a planet where the Rebellion, seizing the opportunity, tries to bring the entire Rebellion upon him in order to destroy one of their biggest foes.

Meanwhile, Comic Book Movie shared an interesting sneak peek into what will be happening in the next issue of the ongoing “Star Wars” book, which is not connected to the “Vader Down” story arc.

According to the preview, Chewbacca is seen defeating his captor, a bounty hunter interested in Han Solo, after Han Solo and Princess Leia Organa arrive and distract the bounty hunter with their presence.

Meanwhile, Luke Skywalker is still fighting for his life against the beast he had been forced to fight, and is trying to call upon the Force for help.

Outside, a worried Leia realized that they will be going right into the beast of the belly as she intuitively guessed that they would find Luke if they followed the path of the TIE fighters that were now screeching past them towards a particular destination on the planet.
