Amell told Jimmy that he was watching “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” as a studio audience when he received a call from his agent confirming that he got a role on “CSI: Miami” as Peter Truitt. He also added that he was not able to finish watching the show because he had to go outside and read his phone messages. The security did not allow him to use his phone inside the studio.
“Being here is a dream come true. Arrow was my tenth American job; I got my first American job sitting in that audience,” Amell said.
Amell also talked about the “Olicity” craze, which he also referred to as “star-crossed lovers.” While he told Hollywood Access that the “Olicity” relationship is a gray area, “Arrow” fans are still hoping the two characters will have their moment.
Moreover, fans anticipate whether Green Arrow would be the highlight of “Arrow’s” return on The CW. When asked if Oliver Queen is really dead, Amell only said that he is certainly hurt.
