The impending march of the “Straight Outta Compton” sequel is just within the neighborhood. Read on for more details.
In a report from TMZ, the said follow-up rap biopic will not just have its focal point on the highly-risky Death Row Records founded by Suge Knight and Dr. Dre but will also embrace the other game-changing players rooted from sunny southern California.
The exclusive photos delivered quite a promising blow. It showcased images of the actors who will be portraying the main posse from in this supposed sequel.
The second outing which will be baptized for the meantime as “Dogg Pound 4 Life” had a roll-call that included: Dada portraying the late Tupac Shakur, Azad Arnaud as Long Beach native Daz Dillinger, Reggie Noble as the aforementioned head honcho Knight, Curtis Young who will occupy Corey Hawkin’s seat as he will play his father Dr. Dre, Melvin Jackson Jr. as the other half of Tha Dog Pound, Kurupt.
O’Shea Jackson, who had a break-out performance as he portrayed his old man, N.W.A. alumnus Ice Cube has not been mentioned if he will revise his role. Nevertheless, there has been no confirmed announcement if the 24-year-old role has been abdicated. He confessed that he and his younger brother had experience unfair run-ins with the law as confirmed by the Daily Mail.
Jackson admits that his father’s status would reduce the tension regarding prejudiced authority on both siblings as they checked on his ID and they would let them go as they pretend to dial a legal defendant.
