Now Jared Leto has himself spoken about his character and is hinting at something that is not what people are expecting from the character. Read On!
According to Movie Pilot, for most part it still remains a mystery as to what his role would be in the movie, but he is sure to be a bit different than what fans are expecting. Giving fans a brand new version of the Joker was a good idea and the way Jared has taken with the beefed up look, multiple tattoos and the creepy smile added with a decent dialogue is surely something which has been a win-win for the character.
Talking about his character, Jared revealed what took him to understand the general mindset of someone like the Joker. According to the “Suicide Squad” star, first of all listening to old gospel music certainly helped and it’s the same gospel like tune that we hear in the trailer, which lends it more authenticity. The actor even added that until an individual doesn’t break rules, he/she wouldn’t be able to find new grounds. Now, this statement is something that Jared will certainly connect with because in the recent months he has achieved a bigger fan base as compared to others only because of his version of the crazy villain.
Such is the impact of Jared’s version that even Producer Charles Roven mentioned that this Joker would be more “social,” so he really comes across as someone who is also a businessman apart from being a complete lunatic.
MailOnline on the other hand reported something, which was not related to Jared’s portrayal of the Joker. The media outlet reported the growing equation of Jared with his “Suicide Squad” co-star Joel Kinnaman. It seems that both the actors grew close while filming and continue to address their growing friendship as they were spotted together in NYC. The duo even stopped at a bunch to sit down and eat their packed lunch, which was very heartwarming to see.
Jared Leto’s on-screen insanity will be seen when “Suicide Squad” releases next year on August 5th.
