“Suits” Season 4 Episode 9 “Gone” aired on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, at 10:00 p.m. on USA Network. Louis kept Harvey and Jessica from the burden of firing him, so instead, the poor guy resigned. Read on to learn more about this episode.

Previously on “Suits” (“Gone” air date: Aug. 13, 2014), Louis (Rick Hoffman) was in trouble for getting involved in an illegal deal with Forstman (Eric Roberts) and accepting his million-dollar bonus. Clearly, Louis wanted to help everyone in Pearson Specter and be the hero that saves the day. In Jessica’s (Gina Torres) viewpoint, Louis made a conscious decision to put the firm in trouble by breaking the law. She was resolved in firing Louis whatever the outcome of this case might be.

Louis’ confession turned out what saved the firm in the end. The Pearson Specter team gathered information and learned that Forstman paid three senators to put Woodall (Zeljko Ivanek) at the SEC. Cahill (Neal McDonough) was in denial at first. But when he soon asked for his boss’ bank account, he refused to give him the details.

Although Louis’ revelation helped the firm, it did not do much for his situation. Again, Jessica was resolved in firing him. He saved Jessica and Harvey (Gabriel Macht) from the pain of kicking him out might cause them and opted to file a resignation. His letter, we must say, was heartbreaking. We felt bad for Louis. Who wouldn’t? He narrated that Pearson Specter was where he immediately worked for after law school and would like to work for. He also said that he was ashamed to put them at risk.

As for Rachel (Meghan Markle) and Mike (Patrick J. Adams), things were still a little tense between them. Mike was trying to have a “mock deposition” with Rachel, so he was asking her questions about Logan. First, Mike asked Rachel if she kissed Logan (Brendan Hines), to which she said yes. Then the next question was if they have slept together. Rachel refused to answer and then the couple had a small falling out. Mike put down his notebook, and Rachel whispered into his ears that she did not sleep with Logan.

What do you think of this episode? Will we see no more of Louis?
