CBS has finally released the trailer for “Supergirl” and it was awesome and exciting! Read below for the full details and the trailer.

According to VCPost, the trailer is 6 minutes long and yes, it is quite long for a trailer. At first I thought it was a sneak peek of the first episode because the trailer really tells a story. Most trailers put the whole show in a nutshell leaving viewers a certain level of anticipation to spike up their interests to look forward to the show. This one’s rather different, but it was really fun and entertaining to watch.

In the trailer, we were taken through Kara Jor-El’s (Melissa Benoist) life. It all started when she left the planet Krypton. She has grown up to be a very sweet and geeky girl just like her cousin, Superman. Kara wants to be normal so she got herself a job as an assistant to Cat Grant, a news editor played by Calista Flockart. The whole thing is so girly, it’s like watching a chick flick until a plan almost crashed and she changed into her Supergirl costume and managed to save the plan wherein her sister is.

The 6-minute preview has garnered a million views since its release but viewers have different opinions regarding the preview. Some say that it is nice while others have a more negative comment saying that it doesn’t look like a superhero tv show at all, more like a rom-com yet the only difference is she changes into a superhero costume and help save the day.
