“Supergirl” will have a new villain/superhero in National City and it will be portrayed by Iddo Goldberg as both Dr. T.O. Morrow and Red Tornado. Read on for more details.
For comic books fans, Dr. T.O. Morrow is known as an architect of crime due to his scientific intellect. The wicked scientist is an illustrious inventor who was able to create tools that enable him to see the future. Red Tornado, on the other hand, is noted to be a die-hard member of the Justice League. He is an android with superior mental power and superhuman strength who is able to manipulate the air element.
In a report from Warner Bros. Television via Comic Book, the showrunners of the upcoming superheroine tv series have kept silent on how the 40-year-old British-Israeli actor will recreate both characters on the small screen. It has been insinuated that it will be a merging of two dissimilar beings from the automaton created by the scientist and the Tornado Champion from Earth-One planet Rann.
It has also been suggested that Goldberg will have two birds in one stone in his guest appearance. He will be the voice of the red android and physically play the nefarious scientist.
Once free from the U.S. government’s grip, Red Tornado will indirectly be involved in a building wrecking spree of which our titular hero, Supergirl played by Melissa Benoist will be pitted against with.
Goldberg is known for his role in “Attachments” and “Secret Diary of a Call Girl.” He also has a recurring character in “Salem” as Isaac Walton.
Peter Facinelli of the “Twilight” Saga fame as cited by News A Rama had snatched the role to play villain Maxwell Lord. Other villains who will also make an appearance but has no actors tagged yet for the role are Livewire and Reactor.
The Supergirl series premiere airs Monday, Oct. 26, 2015 on CBS at 8:30 p.m.
