Actors and actresses, as part of their jobs, often find themselves thrust into challenging roles that help them become better at their craft. Also, especially when they have an upcoming project, regardless of whether it be a film, drama or new song, it is part of the job description of an entertainer to be able to promote these things in the best way they can. However, despite everything, actors and actresses, more often than not, take on these things with enthusiasm and glee, which, of course, in turn, encourages their fans to support them even more. Such is true of miss A’s Suzy Bae, who, has been throwing herself into preparing for the film “Dorihwaga (The Sound of a Flower)” in the best way that she can, and who has been promoting it, as it will be released in Korean cinemas on November 25, 2015.  Read on to learn more about the challenges and the promotion work that Suzy Bae has been doing for her upcoming film.

miss A’s Suzy Bae will be making her much awaited comeback to the silver screen with the period film “Dorihwaga (The Sound of a Flower)”, which is slated to premiere on November 25, 2015.

In order to promote the film, she, according to a report on All K Pop, recently went on a “Guerilla Date” for the television show “Entertainment Weekly”, where she stepped out into a plaza where her fans were waiting for her.

She then stayed cheerful and happy during the entire segment, and signed autographs, had pictures taken with her fans, and allowed her fans to take video footage of her for that segment.

This, of course, is a wonderful breath of fresh air for the actress, who, according to the reports on Soompi, just like the rest of her cast mates in the film, has been busy and has been hard at work doing the movie.

According to a report on Soompi, which also released some interesting and intense stills of Suzy wearing a hanbok, the actress and singer actually had to film for ten hours under the rain, in the Cheongdo County of North Gyeongsang Province, while wearing the flimsy hanbok.

The stills, which feature this particular scene, shows the actress screaming and crying on the mountainside.

However, her co-lead, actor Ryu Seung Ryong, who portrays pansori master Shin Jae Hyo, the teacher of her character, Jin Chae Sun, stated that Suzy, based on that scene, has a lot of potential to become a great actress, especially as she managed to pull off that difficult scene, which also required a lot of different takes.

Ryu Seung Ryong isn’t the only one who has praised Suzy’s efforts and work ethic with regards to this film, as her actual pansori teacher, musician Park Ae Ri, has praised her efforts, as Suzy had been training with her for a year in preparation for the film.

Park Ae Ri, according to Soompi, had been surprised by Suzy’s passion for the traditional art form, and was impressed as she states that Suzy has a wonderful voice that is suited for pansori.
