Neverlandians, get ready, as the newest adaptation of J.M. Barrie’s classic, NBC’s “Peter Pan LIVE!” has just added two new cast members to its roster of veteran actors and veteran stage performers. Read on to learn more about this story.

According to Deadline, Broadway actresses Taylor Louderman and Allana Saunders are finally getting their time to shine on screen, as they will be portraying the iconic roles of Wendy Darling and Tiger Lily respectively.

Wendy Darling, who will be portrayed by Taylor Louderman, is the oldest among the three Darling children, who get whisked of to Neverland by Peter Pan (Allison Williams). Wendy’s parents, Mr. George Darling and Mrs. Darling, will be portrayed by veteran Broadway actors Christian Borle and Kelli O’ Hara, respectively.

Taylor Louderman, a Broadway actress, was most recently on stage as the cheerleader Campbell in “Bring It On: The Musical.” Aside from this, she has also appeared in the musicals “Annie” and “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.”

Allana Saunders, on the other hand, will be playing the Native American Princess, Tiger Lily. According to Deadline, she will be rescued by Peter Pan after being captured by Captain Hook and will join forces with Peter, Wendy, John, Michael and the Lost Boys to defeat the evil pirate captain. According to Broadway World, Saunders was most recently seen onstage in the Connecticut Repertory Production of “Gypsy.”

The other members of this cast include Christopher Walken, who will portray Captain Hook, and Christian Borle, who will also be portraying the role of Mr. Smee.

This is not the first attempt that NBC has made to bring a musical to the small screen, as the network previously released “The Sound of Music LIVE!” on Dec. 5, 2013, with Carrie Underwood as Maria, Christian Borle as Max Detweiler, and Stephen Moyer as Captain von Trapp.

“Peter Pan LIVE!” will be executive produced by Neil Meron and Craig Zadan — the same team that brought “The Sound of Music LIVE” to life.

And that’s the latest casting update on NBC’s “Peter Pan LIVE!” For more news and updates on “Peter Pan LIVE!” and other television shows, keep on following Movie News Guide (MNG).
