If you want to know more about the feud between Taylor Swift and Katy Perry, well… that’s not going to happen anytime soon. The “Style” singer claims she’ll never talk about her frenemy ever again.
Speaking to the Daily Telegraph, Swift said that she refused to give the media anything to write about her relationship with the “Roar” singer. The 25-year-old is adamant to keep her good image for as long as possible.
“I’m not walking up the street with boys, I’m not stumbling out of clubs drunk. But I’m never going to talk about her in my interview. It’s not going to happen,” she said.
The feud between the pop stars began when Swift revealed in an interview with Rolling Stone that her hit song, “Bad Blood” was inspired by an “unnamed” mean girl who tried to sabotage her tour. The very same day that the story went live, Perry tweeted: “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing,” fueling rumors that the song was indeed about her.
With all the rumors, Swift said she can’t help but feel nervous and scared of what people, especially her fans—the Swifties, think about her. It’s a good thing that she could lean on her girlfriends Selena Gomez, Lorde, Karlie Kloss, Haim sisters, Lorde, and Lena Dunham to get her through the tough situations.
The 7-time Grammy winner gushed about how thankful she is for having friends that she feels comfortable sharing her secrets with. She added that although people might think that she has always been a goody-goody, she isn’t at all angelic as she seems. She revealed that they sometime gossip about her enemies.
“When I’m with my friends, we don’t say glowing things about everybody. We’re not sitting around going ‘You know who’s really special and wonderful?’ That’s not what we talk about – we’re normal girlfriends,” she shared.
