Taylor Swift And Nicki Minaj Twitter War Ends

Good news for the fans of Taylor Swift  and Nicki Minaj, the ongoing twitter war between the two leading ladies of the industry has finally came to an end. Read on.

The feud between the two started when the female rapper expressed her disappointment for not being nominated for Video of the Year for her song “Anaconda” at MTV Music Video Awards.  The album “Anaconda” was released in 2014.

Nicki tweeted, “If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year.” (So how did this instigated Swift?)

Well reminding our readers, Swift’s and Beyonce’s music videos also showed girls with flimsy bodies but still they were nominated in the category. Hence, the “Blank Space” singer thought that the tweet by Minaj was made for her.

But to Swift’s surprise, her tweet made Minaj and her fans furious enough to tell her that comment had nothing to do with her. The things turned up more ugly when Katy Perry got involved in this marking her presence with the tweet that said, “Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one immeasurably capitalizes on the take down of a woman…”

Ultimately, Swift herself put up a break at this fight by posting an apology message for Minaj.

“I thought I was being called out. I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke. I’m sorry, Nicki.” Swift said in her tweet.

Well things have turned up to normal now but we are not sure that if Nicki Minaj has really forgiven Taylor Swift for misunderstanding her. Just wishing that once so close friends do not end up like this, for a mere award and above all misunderstanding each other. What do you say?
