Taylor Swift kicked off her Reputation Tour 2018 to a capacity crowd of over 59,000 at the University of Phoenix Stadium. The two-hour long concert had TS performing some of her biggest hits in full-on glittery costumes on three separate decked up stages. Aside from the extravagant show, there was one other thing that caught fans’ eyes — Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Joe Alwyn.
Alwyn was present at Glendale, Arizona to support Swift’s tour opening night. In several videos shared by fans on social media, the actor can be seen in the VIP section of the arena. He was seen in a denim jacket and black baseball cap as he watched his girl perform 24 songs.
The couple even shared a sweet moment which made fans go crazy. At one point during the concert, Swift appeared to be singing to her boyfriend. As she sang her track “Gorgeous,” off her new album “Reputation,” Swift seemed to have pointed at Alwyn. Understandably, this solicited screams from fans.

While Taylor and Alwyn have yet to confirm their relationship, they have been seen together in several occasions. Unlike her other relationships, the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer has tried to keep her new romance low-key. The two have done a good job keeping off paparazzi. They were first seen together in October 2016 at a Kings of Leon concert, but has since avoided the public eye.
Taylor Swift Reputation Tour 2018, a diss at Kanye West
During her two-hour set, Swift addressed the meaning behind the snakes she has mostly been using since releasing her new record. While she didn’t mention the names directly, she did allude to Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.
It can be remembered that Kardashian took a swipe at Swift after claiming that the singer knew about her husband’s track, “Famous.” One line in West’s song stood out, claiming he “made that b**ch famous.” Kardashian claims Swift was aware of the lyrics, even releasing a taped audio of the conversation between the artists. In the audio,TS seemed to have approved the song. The 28-year-old singer retaliated, saying she did not approve the song and have not heard it until its release. To this, Kardashian replied:
Explaining the reason behind the snakes, Swift told her fans: “A couple of years ago, someone called me a snake on social media and it caught on. Then a lot of people were calling me a lot of things on social media and I went through some really low times for a while because of it.”
She continued, “I guess this means I wanted to send a message to you guys, that if someone uses name calling to bully you on social media, and even if a lot of people jump on board with it, that doesn’t have to defeat you. It can strengthen you instead.”
It seems Swift has moved forward from all the drama and is just focusing on her music and her love life. The next Taylor Swift Reputation Tour 2018 concert date will be on May 11, Friday, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA.
