‘Teen Mom’ Cast Update: Mackenzie Douthit Answers Divorce Rumors

Not all rocky relationships end quickly. “Teen Mom 3” stars Josh McKee and Mackenzie Douthit stayed strong after rumors of an impending divorce. Read on for details.

The couple was bombarded with divorce rumors in the past months. McKee was even reported to throw Douthit’s ring in a toilet. However, Wetpaint’s interview with the couple revealed that Douthit and McKee still wanted to work on their relationship.

Douthit explained that she tried her best to conceal their relationship problems from social media. She admitted that McKee left her, which led to divorce talks. However, McKee returned and apologized to her. Douthit realized that they should not keep on blaming themselves.

“But I can’t put all the blame on him or all the blame on me because we just could not get along for the life of us,” Douthit told Wetpaint.

Thankfully, the two-year marriage or five-year romantic relationship still continues.  Douthit admitted that they are still mending some cracks in their relationship. After all, “marriage is always a work in progress.” Douthit playfully said that she could not live without McKee.

What is Douthit and McKee’s inspiration for staying together? Douthit told Wetpaint that their fans made them want to hold on. She also explained that McKee is a good and patient husband.

“I know also a lot of people are looking up to us, and I feel like all the positive comments from fans makes me hold and want to hold on,” Douthit said.

The couple first appeared on MTV’s hit reality series “16 and Pregnant.” They currently have two children namely Gannon and Jaxie Taylor.
