The latest episode of “Teen Wolf” Season 4, Episode 2: “117,” aired on Monday, June 30, 2014, at 10:00 p.m. on MTV. It’s nice to see the cast getting back to school and acting like normal teenagers. However, being a supernatural being can’t be that easy because even if they are trying to live their lives normally, there will always be some enemies that they have to deal with. Read on to learn more about this episode.

Previously on “Teen Wolf” (“Episode 2 “117”), Derek was still around and still young, which means that he had no memories of adulthood and that his current state right now was set up for even more failures. Since he’s back to his teenage years, we saw him struggle as he changes into becoming a wolf. Luckily, Peter was there to help and guide him.

Meanwhile, Kate was having a hard time controlling her transition period. Unfortunately, she did not have anyone to help her through, which means trouble. Moreover, she attacked a civilian. They also brought Derek to Dr.Deaton who had no idea what’s going on and made a decision to wait for Derek to wake up. Lydia stayed and waited for him to wake up.

Agent McCall and Scott were having a father-son bonding because McCall had been staying at his house whenever his mom was on a  night shift. The whole thing was still awkward though, but it’s nice to see that both of them were trying.

Derek woke up at Dr.Deaton’s, but he attacked the doctor right away and left. There was also Stiles who confided on Scott about his relationship with Malia, and we found out that he was confused because he didn’t know where he stands in her life, and he also wanted to tell her that her real father is Peter. However, it seemed like Malia was too preoccupied with school.

Kate was able to turn Derek back, not just physically but mentally as well, which means that he didn’t remember anything, and he went to his house looking for his family only to find out that his house wasn’t there anymore. The police showed up, and he got violent because the cops couldn’t provide the answers that he needed. To defend themselves, a cop pulled a taser on him to quiet him down. They brought Derek to the police station and got his fingerprint, but what they only saw was Derek’s old picture. Stilinski asked Scott and Stiles to help, and they did talk to Derek and told him to lay low until they know how to fix him.

Lydia and Kira found a dead body when they were about to pump some gas into their car, and they realized that the dead body was the one Kate attacked earlier. Malia went to talk to Peter. Finally, he met his daughter for the very first time, but Malia didn’t know anything yet, and Peter had other things to take care of now that he knew that Kate is alive.

Stiles left Derek just for a couple of minutes only to find out after that Kate got Derek. Kate wanted the triskelion that would help her control her transformation, so Derek took her to the vault under the school with Peter, Malia and Scott. However, they met someone wearing a skull mask before they get there. Peter told Kate that the triskelion didn’t have any powers, and it was just something that Derek needed to focus on. Derek tried to fight the Berzerkers, and he started to return to his old and normal self. Once that he was back to normal, we found out that he has golden eyes.

Before the episode ended, we saw a person go into the vault and stole a briefcase that was full of bearer bonds. It turned out that what was stolen was worth $117 million.
