Teen Wolf Season 4 Recap: Monstrous
Dylan O’Brien speaking at the 2013 San Diego Comic Con International, for “Teen Wolf”, at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California.

In “Teen Wolf” Season 4, Episode 10 titled “Monstrous” (air date: Aug. 24, 2014), the  connection between Meredith and Peter was finally revealed. Meanwhile, some assassins were still on the move to kill, and the pack may already have put an end to the Dead Pool. Read on for the full recap.

The episode started with the assassins chasing Brett and a young girl at the school’s lacrosse field. When they got there, the assassins fired their arrows. Luckily, Kira interceded and helped them. If Kira wasn’t there, both of them were dead meat.

On the other hand, Stiles was still nursing his concussion at a hospital. Melissa restricted him to leave the hospital, but Stiles felt hesitant. He first negotiated that he would stay if he let him listen to Lorraine’s tape. Now that they know who the real benefactor is, Lydia went to the police station to charge Meredith as the perpetrator. She also talked with Sheriff Stilinski regarding Meredith’s mental competency.

After Scott took Liam home, Kira told him that she found the rest of Satomi’s pack. Meanwhile, Chris Argent discovered a plant with yellow flowers at the abandoned warehouse. He took the plant but noticed that there was a dust trail leading him to Scott and Satomi’s pack.

Meredith still wouldn’t budge and spill the beans at the station and one of the good things that happened this episode? Malia finally forgave Stiles! Then, the reunited couple listened to Lorraines’s tape. They were also able to figure out that Grandma Martin and Bruskie were  at the lakehouse and not in the Eichen house, where they thought the tape was made. They both realized that that Lorraine only predicted the deaths of everyone included in the so-called hit list.

When Lydia tried to interrogate Meredith, the woman wanted to talk with Peter Hale. Unfortunately, Peter doesn’t remember Meredith at all. She tried to tell him about keeping the origin of the list. Upon hearing this, Peter got angry and went to find Meredith’s memories. It was later revealed that Meredith had heard all of Peter’s thoughts. She learned that Peter wanted to kill every supernatural creature in their town.

Back at the lakehouse, Malia had a mysterious experience after hearing Lorraine’s tape. She thought that she heard something spinning even after they turned it off. She followed a cord and pulled on it, and then a wall opened up, what was revealed to them were a room full of Lorraine’s machines regarding the Dead Pool.

As  they found a key that can help turn off the machines, the assassins got automatic texts to terminate their missions. The group at the warehouse got attacked by the assassins, but they were able to defeat them.

Peter got away, and our teen wolves may be done with the Dead Pool. Then again, Peter and Kate were moving onto a new plan to kill Scott.
