As if “Westworld” could not get any bigger with a genius like J.J Abrams working on the pilot of the show, a huge network backing it up and of course, the wave of big actors being cast in the show, it got even bigger due to the announcement of a new cast member! Read on to find out the latest casting update for “Westworld.”

According to Variety, Thandie Newton is set to join HBO’s “Westworld.” She will take on the character of Maeve Millay, a woman who’s amazing when it comes to survival and has a certain skill when it comes to reading people. Her character would be very challenged when she tackles new and different obstacles. She viewed herself as experienced, but she will be proven otherwise, making her life and her world even more interesting.

Newton joins big stars such as Anthony Hopkins, James Marsden, Evan Rachel Wood, Ed Harris and Jeffrey Wright. Newton currently stars in DirecTV’s “Rogue.” Her show has just been recently picked up for its third season.

She will be starring in the pilot episode of “Westworld”, but there is no news yet whether she will be joining the cast and the whole first season if HBO ordered the show into a TV series. With “Rogue” can she manage it? As of the moment, details about the show are still being kept under wraps and they have just been releasing cast members starring in the pilot episode.
