“The Big Bang Theory” Season 8 Episode 7 “The Misinterpretation Agitation” will air on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014, at 8:00 p.m. on CBS. The show will move to its new timeslot this season. Read on for the details of what you can expect from the episode. But first, let’s go over what happened last week in a quick recap below.
In “The Expedition Approximation” (air date: Oct. 20, 2014), Penny (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting) told Leonard (Johnny Galecki) that she already sold the car he gave her. Her new job as a pharmaceutical representative came with a car perk. It didn’t make sense that she owned two, so she sold her other car and had a photo to commemorate it. Leonard was slightly upset because this was his gift. But the real issue was when Penny insisted on giving the money from the sale to Leonard. Penny was making enough money, and this was her way of saying that she didn’t need her fiancé to support her.
Leonard thought that they could probably use the money to open a joint bank account. But to make sure that they were making the right choice so that money doesn’t become an in issue in their relationship, they turned to Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) and Howard (Simon Helberg) for advise.
But asking the two about money matters didn’t help because Bernadette and Howard had this weird arrangement. Apparently, she handles all of their money, particularly because she earns more, and he only gets allowances from her. Sometimes, he gets extra cash if he’s able to do his chores at home.
Meanwhile, Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) went on an expedition at the university’s steam tunnel. They needed to see how they would do in such a condition. The two were actually doing pretty well for a while, with Raj talking to Sheldon about Hannah Montana, but then rats appeared and Sheldon left the tunnel as fast as he could.
Spoiler Alert: “The Big Bang Theory” Season 8 Episode 7 “The Misinterpretation Agitation” airs on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014, at 8:00 p.m. on CBS.
The upcoming episode will show that Penny is doing really well in her new job. She thought that she had her sales techniques down to pat. However, her flirtatious pitches will be misinterpreted by a doctor, who will surprise Penny by showing up at her doorstep. So, she will turn to the guys for help in this rather sticky situation.
In another storyline, Amy (Mayim Bailik) and Bernadette will debate over the idea of sexy female scientists. Should the likes of them be using their sexuality in the workplace?
This episode is written by Chuck Lorre, Eric Kaplan and Jim Reynolds with Mark Cendrowski as the director.
