The two-minute promotional video on Spoiler TV revealed a glimpse of all the action that will be happening in the upcoming episode, “Luther Braxton.” In the clip, FBI Agent Elizabeth “Liz” Keen (Megan Boone) and the rest of the special task force headed by FBI Agent Harold Cooper (Harry Lennix) are told that criminal mastermind Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader) was taken by the CIA. While at the black site, Red warns them that a ruthless man, Red’s worst nightmare — Luther Braxton (Ron Perlman) — will escape. Braxton poses a threat to national security as he sells classified information.

However, while Liz, FBI Agent Donald Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) and Mossad Agent Samar Navabi (Mozhan Marno) are in the middle of breaking Red out of the CIA black site, Braxton comes to them and holds Ressler and Samar as hostages while Liz protects Red.

The rest of the promotional video shows Red and Liz fighting back to rescue their comrades, and Braxton having a showdown with Red, and in another instance, with Liz and her team. A shoot out occurs, and a worried Red looks for Liz, who seems to be in pain.

Meanwhile, in an interview with the cast, James Spader, who portrays Raymond “Red” Reddington, shares that Braxton and Red have a history. Red tries to use his knowledge about his adversary to either dance with them or to dance in opposition to them as he always does. He also shared that now, the “terrain is rockier” than what it was before.

According to Amir Arison, who portrays the team’s resident technical operator, Aram Mojtabai, the upcoming episode will go right in the heart of Red and Liz’s relationship. He also shared that the upcoming episode will delve into the heart of things, and questions will be answered. Moreover, the shadowy group that was working with Alan Fitch (Alan Alda), who turned out to be The Decemberist, will be featured in the upcoming episodes, and viewers will be able to learn more about them.
