Attorney Monte Flagg (Lyle Lovett) found himself in the middle of the crime scene along with severed body parts in a pool of blood. Then Monte saw a mystery woman, who smiled at him with a bloody machete in her hands.

Sonya was informed by Hank that Eva (Stephanie Sigman) was not safe anymore in the ranch. They discovered the new information when they found a Chihuahua PD officer near the vicinity. Hank took Eva to be taken cared of by Bob (Jon Gries), who owns a women’s shelter in the desert.

Daniel Frye (Matthew Lillard) continued to probe about the death of a woman who hid millions of dollars inside her home. His investigations led him to several family members of the Quintana family. Daniel then shared this information with his Juarez-born colleague, Adriana (Emily Rios). Both Daniel and Adriana also struggled with their personal problems.
