“Gone with the Wind”

The movie is about a great love affair between a manipulative Southern belle and a blockade runner set during the American Civil War. It was directed by Victor Fleming; and the stars included Clark Gable, Vivien Leigh, Thomas Mitchell and Barbara O’Neil.


The main cast of the movie were Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman and Paul Henreid and was directed by Michael Curtiz. The movie was set in Africa during the early World War II period and is about an American emigrant who happens to meet his former lover in the midst of the unanticipated events.

“The Godfather” (series)

Directed by Francis Ford Capola, the plot suggests that an ageing father and the owner of a crime dynasty transfers his patriarchal and secret empire to his hesitant son. The cast members were Marlon Brando, Al Pacino and James Caan.

“Citizen Kane”

The director and actor Orson Welles along with Joseph Cotten, Dorothy Comingore and Agnes Moorehead were the cast of the movie. The plot suggests that after the death of a publishing tycoon, the news reporters try to find out the meaning of his last words.

“The Wizard of Oz”

This movie was directed by many directors the main and important ones were Victor Fleming and George Cukor. The stars of the movie were Judy Garland, Frank Morgan, Ray Bolger and many more. The story is about a girl, Dorothy Gale, who is swept away by a tornado to a magical land and tries to find a wizard who can send her back home.


Directed by William Wyler and the stars included Charlton Heston, Jack Hawkins, Stephen Boyd and Haya Harareet. The plot revolves around a Jewish prince who gets betrayed by his Roman friend and is sent to slavery. But he escapes and returns back for revenge.

“Taxi Driver”

This movie is about a Vietnam War veteran who turns into a psycho and murders many in New York City, where he works as a taxi driver. He murders to save a prostitute. It was directed by Martin Scorsese, and the cast included Robert De Niro, Jodie Foster, Cybill Shepherd and more.


Another great movie directed by Alfred Hitchcock. The stars in the movie were James Stewart, Kim Novak, Barbara Bel Geddes and Tom Helmore. The story revolves around a retired detective who suffers from acrophobia, tries to investigate into the strange activities of an old friends’ wife, and in the attempt, he gets highly obsessed with her.


It was directed by Alfred Hitchcock and the plot of the movie revolves around a Phoenix secretary who steals the money from a client of her employer and finds a hideout in a secluded motel. The owner of the motel is a young guy who is dominated by his mother. The cast members were Anthony Perkins, Janet Leigh, Vera Miles and more.

“The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari”

This movie was directed by Robert Wiene, and the cast members were Werner Kraus, Conrad Veidt and Friedrich Feher. The movie revolves around dangerous predictions of Dr. Caligari.

“My Fair Lady”

An Audrey Hepburn movie which included other stars such as Rex Harrison, Stanley Holloway and Wilfred Hyde-White. The director of the movie was George Cukor, and the story was about an arrogant professor who takes a vow to change a flower girl into a presentable high-society girl.

“Breakfast at Tiffany’s”

This movie was directed by Blake Edwards, and the cast were Audrey Hepburn, George Peppard, Patricia Neal and Buddy Ebsen. The story is about a young socialite from New York who falls in love with a young man who moves into her apartment.

“Schindler’s List”

It was a Steven Spielberg movie which was about a Jewish man who witnesses the persecution of his fellowmen by the Nazis and is deeply concerned. The movie was set in Poland during the World War II, and the cast members were Liam Neeson, Ben Kingsley, Ralph Fiennes and many more.

“It Happened One Night”

The director of this film was Frank Capra and the cast included Clark Gable, Claudette Colbert, Walter Connolly and Roscoe Karns. The plot narrates the story of a young and spoilt heiress who runs away from her family and is helped by a man who is a reporter in search of a story.
