Disney and Pixar releases the official logo, as well as giving us a new look, of their upcoming animated pic, “The Good Dinosaur.” The upcoming 3D computer-animated comedy produced by Pixar will follow the adventures of Arlo, a lively 70-foot-tall teenage Apatosaurus with a big heart and a young human boy named Spot. “The Good Dinosaur” will be the studio’s sixteenth feature film and is directed by Peter Sohn who replaced Bob Peterson, who came up with the idea for the story and directed the animated pic until August 2013, when he was removed from the film. Sohn will direct from a story by Enrico Casarosa and Bob Peterson with Denise Ream as producer. “The Good Dinosaur” will feature the voices of Lucas Neff as Arlo, the youngest of the Apatosaurus family; John Lithgow as Poppa; Frances McDormand as Momma; Neil Patrick Harris as Cliff; Judy Greer as Ivy; and Bill Hader as Forrest.
Pixar’s John Lassater describes the pic’s plot as “a very funny story about a certain way of life that a young dinosaur has trouble fitting into and he ends up going on this quest."
“The Good Dinosaur” will hit theaters on Nov. 25, 2015, to be released by Walt Disney Pictures.
