“The Good Wife” Season 6 Episode 10 "The Trial" aired on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014, at 9:00 p.m. on CBS. The episode followed the story of Alicia’s (Julianna Margulies) campaign and the Cary’s (Matt Czuchry) trial. Read on to learn more about this episode.
Alicia had been facing issues about threatening her daughter's PE teacher. As per Alicia, it was just a joke. However, the school's management took it seriously.
After the school meeting, the news about threatening the teacher reached the media, putting Alicia in trouble. Johnny (Steven Pasquale) and Eli (Alan Cumming) had no idea about the issue until Alicia arrived. Someone called Eli on the phone, asking if it was true that Alicia threatened a teacher. They laughed off the issue and had no plans to ask Alicia about it. Then Alicia explained that it was just a joke.
They tried to figure out how Alicia can come clean regarding the issue. Meanwhile, Cary was having issues of his own as there was a new, not to mention strong, evidence against him. His juror, Steve Fratti (Zak Orth), had an issue with his auditory ability. He decided to leave the case.
Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) found a way to solve the case — to talk to Dante. She went to Dante's house to ask for permission to testify, but he refused. During Dante's conversation with Kalinda, it was revealed that Kalinda has something more for Cary.
Alicia's opponent, Frank Prady (David Hyde Pierce), had no idea about the issue she was facing. He was asked if what he will do to a person who threat teachers. He answered he/she should be prosecuted. With that, Alicia called Frank for a meeting and revealed the real score. Frank said he has no idea about that.
Grace told her mom that her PE teacher wanted to meet her in school. Since Alicia was in trouble, she needed to grant the request; she went to meet the teacher. When they met, she learned that the teacher's husband is working in the teacher's union. They needed a lawyer to support them.
Although Dante appeared in the Cary's hearing, his statements were against him. With that, the prosecution offered him a deal. If he will testify against Lemond Bishop (Mike Colter), he will be acquitted.
Meanwhile, Alicia's scandal was cleared up as her daughter's principal and the PE teacher told the media that everything was just a misunderstanding. While walking around, Cary bumped into Bishop. He offered Cary to move to Barcelona. Bishop wanted Cary to be his legal attorney. He promised that he will give him a place to live in , but Cary refused.
The episode ended with Cary revising his plea — he's guilty.
