The Hulk Could Be Facing the Abomination Once More in ‘The Avengers’ Franchise

Marvel Studios has long been considering whether they would bring a bit of Hulk’s back story in the upcoming “Avengers” franchise storyline and the Abomination actor Tim Roth shares the likelihood of it all. Read on to know more about the details to this revelation.

Should there be a permanent thing in the Marvel Universe, it would have to be the fact that no villain is ever truly dead. It’s all notable how each of the nemesis of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes resurfaces once more in one way or another for them to defeat. That’s basically the comic part of it and that’s basically why Marvel Studios considered having a previous villain make the abominating comeback.

Everyone is excited for the premiere of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” this year, but before its storyline came into actuality, IndieWire revealed that Hulk’s enemy, the Abomination, was considered to be part of the collective sequel.

“They were going to do it. They did do that. They were thinking, in The Avengers 2 or something. There was a movie we could do that at one point, but way back when. It just kind of got swept under the carpet I guess. That would be hilarious,” stated Tim Roth, who brought the destruction-imposing monster to the screen, on Crave Online.

Come to think of it, there really isn’t much of Hulk’s backstory in “The Avengers.” His involvement in the initiative hinted to be based on Louis Leterrier reboot of franchise, “The Incredible Hulk,” but not much is said on his stead. The actor who played Bruce Banner in Leterrier’s franchise is indeed different from the one who fought alongside Iron Man, Captain America and Thor, with Mark Ruffalo smashing the enemies instead of Edward Norton. Be that as it may, it’s too early to say that this idea is definitely scrapped.

That ends our scoop regarding Tim Roth’s the Abomination possibly fighting the Hulk in “The Avengers” franchise. Keep tabs on Movie News Guide (MNG) for more updates on your favorite movies.
