‘The Mindy Project’s’ ‘Wreath Witherspoon’ Is the Best Christmas Decor Ever; Even Reese Witherspoon Says So

We all have probably seen the latest episode of “The Mindy Project” by now. This might be our favorite just yet as Mindy Kaling had introduced us to the brilliance that is the “Wreath Witherspoon.” Now, holidays won’t be the same without a nice “Wreath Witherspoon” hanging in your room.

Fans of Mindy’s alter ego Dr. Mindy Lahiri took to Instagram to share their take on this fun art project, using the hashtag #WreathWitherspoon.

The inspiration behind this new holiday creation, Reese Witherspoon herself, re-grammed a photo from Mindy’s Instagram that featured a variety of Wreath Witherspoons and captioned: “The many variations of a #WreathWitherspoon (Regram @MindyKaling)…. hahah….Love it!!!"

In case you were wondering, yes a Wreath Witherspoon is a wreath made out of magazine cut-outs of the actress’ face. The celebrity-obsessed gynecologist did not stop there. She actually made a Rihanna Christmas topper! Unfortunately, her boyfriend Danny Castellano (Chris Messina) did not think that it was such a good idea.

“A Christmas tree is no place for exposed breasts, you’re lucky I let you put up that wreath,” he says.

Mindy’s latest pop culture reference is really starting to become the “in” thing nowadays.  There’s even a T-shirt with a Reese Witherspoon on it sold on Etsy!

“The Mindy Project” is now on its third season. We’ve seen Mindy date a bunch of guys before finally ending up (for now) with Danny.  The on-screen chemistry the two have is undeniable, and it probably has something to do with how Mindy and Chris get along in real life.

“Chris Messina is the most in-touch-with-his-body person of all time, and all he does is make you feel beautiful and confident. I wish on every actress that they get to shoot a sex scene with Chris Messina, because it’s great fun,” Kaling shared on Time magazine.

There you have it on the latest Christmas trend, Wreath Witherspoon, introduced to us by “The Mindy Project.”
