A growing family is on the way! “The Real” co-host Tamera Mowry has just announced on Instagram that she is pregnant on her second child with her husband, Fox News senior correspondent Adam Housley. Read on to learn more about this scoop.
On Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015, a thrilled Mowry took to Instagram to show off her positive pregnancy test result, thus confirming that she is happily pregnant again.
Almost instantly after she made her announcement, friends and fans gushed over the exciting news and have sent over their congratulations for the family.
Upon hearing the news, Mowry’s “The Real” co-hosts Loni Love and Tamar Braxton both took to Twitter to congratulate their friend. In her post, Love said, “Finally confirmed that I will be a new Auntie!! Congrats my love…”
On the other hand, Braxton and her husband Vince Herbert gave Mowry a joint congratulations, saying, “AHHHHHH! Congratulations to OUR girl @TameraMowryTwo on your pregnancy w/ Baby #2! Love you girl. #TheReal”
Mowry and Housley were married in May 2011. In November 2012, the couple welcomed their eldest child, Aden to the world. In a February interview with People, Mowry praised her husband on how he’s very hands-on with their son.
“[It’s] such a big blessing when you have a husband that loves being a dad just as much as you love being a mom. He is a phenomenal father,” Mowry told People.
In another interview with People last July, Mowry expressed her wish on having another child, which is now finally coming true. She also added of how her identical twin sister, Tia, joked on the possibility of them competing on having babies around the same time.
With this possibility, she could only call it a “happy coincidence.”
“[Adam and I] definitely want another one. If [Tia and I] end up pregnant at the same time, we didn’t plan it. I don’t have a plan. Whatever happens, happens. But I would be very grateful to have another baby,” Mowry added.
