‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 6 Spoilers
3.18 “The Murder of One”

After the midseason finale of “The Vampire Diaries” Season 6, fans are eager to know what’s going to happen next episode when it comes back next year. Read on for further details.

The question that most fans have (even me) is: Would Caroline and Stefan finally get together? Julie Plec turned on to Twitter after the midseason finale and dropped some hints regarding Stefan and Caroline. It looks like, FINALLY, they will be together.

We think that she’s pertaining to Caroline and Stefan, with her mom’s tumor and Stefan being on her side, there will be something again for these two. Caroline and Stefan are definitely the couple to watch out for this season because to be honest, Damon and Elena are pretty much established already, and we think that these two will end up together. No more going back to the other Salvatore brother, we assume.

Aside from that, Plec also confirmed that Bonnie is going back to present-day Mystic Falls. Woohoo! And with her presence back in Mystic Falls, their chances of taking down Kai is clearer. Plec also teased that Jeremy will be enrolling himself in an art school. Well, that’s a good choice, Jer, a good way to let go of that anger, sadness — all negative emotions.

Romance is also up ahead for Alaric and Tyler. And that being said, we're talking about Alaric and Jo and obviously, Tyler and Liv.

To sum it all up, next year is going to be really interesting for “The Vampire Diaries.” Did we mention that Ian Somerhalder would be directing the next episode? Exciting time ahead, really.
