And the winner is? Missed “The Voice” Season 8 finale? Well, don’t you worry because we have the full recap for you below. Read on.
First off, we had the Top 20 who all took the stage and performed Fun’s “Carry On” and “Some Nights.”
Second, we had Christina Aguilera do a “coach audition.” She made impressions of Miley Cyrus, Sia, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Cher, and Shakira. It was really fun and really brave of her to do these “impersonations.”
Third, Kelly Clarkson performed on stage with Hawthrone and Linsey while Sheryl Crow also took the stage and performed with Davis. Pharrell Williams also revealed that he has started working with Mia Z.
Will Ferrell and Nick Offerman were there to give a sneak peek for Red Nose Day. Ferrell even called himself “the original Pharrell.”
We also had Adam Levine and Maroon 5 performed the world debut of their song “This Summer’s Gonna Hurt.”
Ed Sheeran also took the stage to sing “Photograph.”
And then the coaches performed in honor of B.B. King.
Now it’s time to go to the contestants.
Joshua Davis, Koryn Hawthrone, Meghan Linsey and Sawyer Fredericks gave their best shot in the season finale of “The Voice” Season 8.
Hawthorne performed with Clarkson with “I’d Rather Go Blind.” And Hawthrone nailed it!
Meghan Linsey and Sarah Potenza sang Janis Joplin’s “Piece of My Heart.”
Sawyer Fredericks and John Fogerty performed “Born on the Bayou” and “Have You Ever Seen the Rain.”
Joshua Davis and Sheryl Crow performed “Give It to Me.”
And the winner is…
Sawyer Fredericks! She sang her original song “Please,” and he seems so happy to get the title this season. And as for Pharell, he is so proud of her.
“The Voice” Season 9 returns this Fall 2015.
