The Walking Dead Season 8 is confirmed and to everybody’s surprise even before the Season 7 premiere. AMC officially confirmed for the season 8 and fans will have another year to watch the loathsome drama of The Walking Dead.

In October 2016, AMC officially made an announcement of the The Walking Dead Season 8. The president of AMC, Sundance TV, and AMC studios released a statement about it. He said, ”What a Joy to partner with Robert Kirkman, Scott M. Gimple and some of the hardest working people in Television to bring the walking dead to the fans. And the most important, thanks to those fans for breathing life into this remarkable series right along with us.”

The Walking Dead Season 8 Synopsis

Rick Grimes and the team have still so much more to go through. There will be no end to the gruesome happenings in the series. The TV series is the adaptation of the comics with the same title. The regular reader of the comics will not be surprised with the introduction of the new villain, Negan. But for exclusive TV fans, they should be ready to see the horrendous villain ever to appear in the series.

The renewed season will begin with the 100th episode of the series. It will premiere in late 2017. The Walking Dead Season 8 will have 16 episodes.

The Walking Dead Season 8 likely to Introduce Whisperer: Survivors

It is likely that a prequel episode revealing Negan’s past to happen. In the prequel, there will be a battle Negan with Rick. After a deadly battle, Rick will win over his nemesis and confine him.

The comic series will have yet another threat in the form of Whisperers: Survivors who dress themselves in the skin of zombies. They did it so because they believe that humans have to adapt in order to live as per the power of nature.

The AMC official Instagram has dropped in a hint of the arrival of Alpha and the Whisperers through a post where a guillotined head is on a pike. Fans are smart enough to know now what will come up in Season 8. We will see Jeffery Dean Morgan as Negan. Golden Globe Nominee Mario Bello will also appear as a new character in Walking Dead Season 8.
