The second half of “The Walking Dead” Season 5 is getting close, and the show doesn’t miss a beat to throw in another teaser to excite the fans. Read on for further details.
The question which have been plaguing us since its winter finale is that where are they going now?
In the trailer, we hear Rick saying, “We do what we need to do, and then we get to live. I know we’ll be ok because this is how we survive.”
Aside from that, we will also welcome a new face, Ross Marquand, who will definitely spice up the roster of zombie apocalypse survivors with his mysterious role, who is said to be a gay character from the comic book. That being said, he will be the first gay character in “The Walking Dead.” Marquand has appeared in various shows including “Mad Men.”
Meanwhile, news about Daryl Dixon’s sexuality on the show has been an issue with Kirkman’s comment, but he finally cleared the air.
“We play Daryl Dixon as being somewhat asexual on the show he’s a very introverted character and I think that’s some of his appeal. I do have to clear something up, though: in the letter column of the comic book that I do, I mentioned that there was a possibility early on about making Daryl Dixon’s character gay… it caused quite a hubbub online and I just wanted to clarify that the possibility is there and that I would have been fine with it, the network would have been fine with it, but we ultimately didn’t do that. I can make it official: Daryl Dixon is straight,” comic book creator Robert Kirkman revealed on “Talking Dead.”
