The Writers Guild of America 2015 Nominees [WATCH VIDEO]

Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW) and the Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) announced nominations for outstanding achievement in television, new media, news, radio and promotional writing for 2014. Winners will be honored at the 2015 Writers Guild Awards on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, at simultaneous ceremonies in Los Angeles and New York City. Read on for further details. 

Shonda Rhimes’ outstanding contributions to entertainment industry will be recognized at the upcoming 2015 Writers Guild Awards’ West Coast ceremony.  The ceremony will be held on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2014, at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in LA.

Talented television writer-producer Rhimes, who is best known for “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Scandal,” “How to Get Away With Murder,”  will receive the Writers Guild of America, West’s 2015 Paddy Chayefsky Laurel Award for Television Writing Achievement.  She will receive the lifetime achievement honor in outstanding television writing.

There were no nominees in Children’s Script – Long Form or Special or Television Graphic Art and Animation categories this year.
