Earlier this week, pictures of “The X-Files” stars, Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny hit on twitter and the fans went to admire the pictures but now, the first photos of Mulder and Scully are back in action and the current photos is going to make the fans jump on the seats because “The Soup” host, Joel McHale has also joined the star cast.
Joel McHale, who also star in “Community” will portray the role of a conservative Internet news network host, Tad O’Malley in the upcoming season of “The X-Files.”
The official Twitter and Facebook accounts of “The X-Files” shared the photo and David is looking a little incognito and Anderson is in Scully’s trademark dress, pantsuits and a pencil skirt.
It’s been 13 long years since “The X-Files” ended and now according to the Chris Carter, the creator and executive producer of the show, this 13-years will be count as a commercial break. “The good news is the world has only gotten that much stranger, a perfect time to tell these six stories,” said Chris after announcing the all new series of “The X-Files.”
No one has dropped the balls about telling the other details of the all new six episodes of “The X-Files” like release date for instance but Gillian Anderson did shed few dust. “Apparently, we had a child, which was conceived in the episode I wrote and directed, so I shouldn’t be too shocked, but I kind of forgot about it for a while and had to be reminded,” she said. Gillian’s son William is now 14 and there are chances that he might show up at some point.
