Describing your feelings for someone you love without using the words “I love you” can be tricky, but not for Bob and Kim. They were one of the couples featured in Hallmark’s Valentine’s ad/mini-documentaries with #PutYourHeartToPaper campaign. Watch the video below and get ready to fall in love.
The camera starts rolling with Kim and Bob being filmed separately, telling the story of how they met, fell in love and decided to get married. The couple have been together for 56 years now. The two then were brought together, sat side by side on a chair while watching the video filmed earlier. One of the sweetest moments in the video is when Kim said that Bob is part of her, and she can’t imagine life without him. When asked what she sees in Bob’s eyes when they look at each other, Kim said she sees herself.
Hallmark’s #PutYourHeartToPaper campaign also featured the talkedabout video featuring the lesbian couple Corinna and Eugenia.
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and Hallmark encourages everyone to go beyond “I love you.” It is safe to say that Hallmark did a good job in featuring real-life couples for this campaign this year, and Slate agrees with it.
