Tom Holland, the third and most youthful Spider-man to grace the movies this decade, has been getting some Asgardian advice. Holland appears with the mighty Thor, Chris Hemsworth in his latest outing. He said that the God of Thunder gave him some really good advice when he was chosen as Spider-man in the upcoming “Captain America: Civil War.” Read on to find out what it was.
Chris Hemsworth and Tom Holland star together in Ron Howard’s whaling saga, “In the Heart of The Sea”, which is out this December. Holland spoke about Hemsworth’s advice to him at the Premiere of the Ed Sheeran movie, Jumpers for Goalposts:
“Hemsworth is a good friend of mine, and I work with him… he sent me a congratulatory note and also just a few words of advice about ‘remain cool, it’s all going to get a little crazy, but just enjoy life while no one knows who you are and do some travelling.” Holland said.
You can watch his full interview in the video below via Hey U Guys. Holland also talks at length about Spider-men before him, saying that while he would try to recreate some factors that he loves, he would try to make a new and exciting movie.
Mr. Holland, on behalf of all Spider-fans, as long as you do not try to recreate Tobey Maguire’s emo-spidey-dance, I think we will be ok with it.
Holland’s bruised nose prompted an interviewer to ask him whether it was a (Civil) war wound, but we learned that he fell over on set while doing his last shot.
“they were like, ‘Roll cameras!’, I was getting into position, everything went wrong, and they still did the take anyway. It looks great and they’ll probably just CGI out all the blood, and yeah, I was very lucky.”
Holland will appear as Spider-Man in the upcoming Marvel’s Superhero Slug-Fest “Civil War” on May 6, 2016, followed by a solo wall-crawler movie in 2017.
