Thor has more important things to worry about than the new evil antics of his adopted brother Loki in Thor: Ragnarok. At Supanova Comic Con in Sydney, Australia this weekend, Chris Hemsworth revealed the kind of relationship that the God of Thunder has with the God of Mischief in the upcoming movie.
After Loki’s “sacrifice,” Thor: The Dark World closed with the villain impersonating Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and seated on his throne in Asgard. From the end-credits scene for Doctor Strange, fans learned that the King of Asgard went missing and Thor believes that his father is somewhere on Earth.
However, at home, Thor also has to deal with the arrival of Hela (Cate Blanchett), the rule of Hel, and prevent Ragnarok. Somehow, Thor will also end up on a new planet called Sakaar where he gets captured by the Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum) and made to battle his “friend from work” the Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). Above all, Thor has lost his Mjolnir.
Tom Hiddleston’s role in the upcoming movie remains a secret. In the first teaser released earlier this year, he was spotted sitting alongside the Grandmaster as Thor faces the Hulk in a gladiator-style arena.
However, Loki is the least of Thor’s worries. According to Hemsworth, the God of Thunder feels ambivalent over his brother’s activities.
“Thor and Loki’s relationship differs in a way that Thor doesn’t care what Loki does anymore in Ragnarok,” he stated.

It is not surprising that the God of Thunder has stopped caring about his brother’s antics in Thor: Ragnarok. Loki has caused so much trouble not only in Asgard but also on Earth that Thor has pretty much given up and chose to attend to more serious matters.
However, Hiddleston’s villain is still one of the most beloved in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and he probably still has a few devious tricks up his sleeves.
Thor: Ragnarok To Feature Final Infinity Stone
Hemsworth also talked about one of the biggest mysteries in the MCU: the location of the final Infinity Stone. After more than a dozen movies, only five out of six Infinity Stones has been revealed and Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok is the second to the last movie to be released before Avengers 3.
A Reddit user reported (via Digital Spy) that Hemsworth promised that the location of the final stone will be revealed real soon. The actor did not talk about specifics, but it supports the T.H.A.N.O.S. theory.
To recall, the theory claims that the artifacts that house the Infinity Stones spell out T.H.A.N.O.S. The Space Gem is in the Tesseract, the Reality Gem in Aether, the Time Gem in the necklace called Eye of Agamotto, the Power Gem in the Orb and the Mind Gem in the Scepter (later on Vision’s head).
The missing stone is the Soul Stone which has not been discovered in the MCU yet. Another fan theory suggests that Thor might find the Soul Stone in the broken pieces of his hammer. After all, the weapon can look into someone’s soul and judge them if they are worthy to use its power.
Others believe that Heimdall (Idris Elba), guard of the Rainbow Bridge who has the capacity to see all nine realms and ten trillion souls, is in possession of the Soul Stone. Hela, the Norse god of the dead, could also be getting her power from the mysterious artifact.
Thor: Ragnarok will also introduce Tessa Thompson as Thor’s new love interest, Valkyrie. The movie will land on the big screen on Nov. 3.
