After all the excitement that surrounded the fact that Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk will be seen in the upcoming “Thor: Ragnarok,” fans thought the next in line project for the green raging monster will be a standalone movie. But turns out fans might just have to stay disappointed as Ruffalo himself shared some details about the movie.
According to Screen Crush, Ruffalo was at an interview for his upcoming movie “Spotlight” when he shared the news. According to the “Thor: Ragnarok” actor, watching a solo Hulk movie might just have become an even more distant dream because the movie itself is further away than before.
Ruffalo clarified that Hulk is not Marvel’s property and the character being Universal’s property, makes it more problematic. As far as the Hulk being a Universal property is concerned, both the solo Hulk ventures that have been released until now were released by Universal.
It was because of a deal that Marvel Studios and Universal cracked that allows Hulk to feature in Marvel movies. But unfortunately for another solo Hulk movie to happen Marvel might have to pull a lot of strings.
Now that we have got down to talk about the Hulk solo movie, one might wonder what would they show in the movie? Because most of the important parts in the life of Hulk has been covered in the earlier movies. Hulk’s problematic equation with General Ross and his life with his daughter has been the center of focus in these movies so what could possibly another solo movie show? Ruffalo believes the only thing that the Hulk fears is Bruce Banner himself and given the fact that both of them haven’t been seen together, watching them together could make a good idea.
Games Radar added that a Mark Ruffalo starrer Hulk solo movie still could have endless possibilities given the fact that this version of the Hulk has garnered tremendous response both from the critics and fans. Maybe Marvel Studios just does not want to jinx anything that they have planned for the raging monster and will reveal their plans when the time is right.
