‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Movie Updates and Spoilers: Jaimie Alexander as Lady Sif in ‘Thor 3’

The 31-year-old actress Jaimie Alexander is very much reprising her role in “Thor 3.” She has previously played the role of Lady Sif in 2011 film “Thor,” second instalment “Thor: The Dark World” and “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Read on for more details.

According to Comic Book, Alexander confirmed her come back as Lady Sif on MTV. She will be starring in NBC’s “Blindspot,” but that would not interfere with her return to reprise the role of Lady Sif. She also added that she yet don’t know that her role as Lady Sif will be doing ‘a little or a lot’, but she is definitely returning.

“Thor: Rognarok” will serve as phase 3 of the “Thor” franchise. It is popularly being called as “Thor 3.” It is a sequel to “Thor: The Dark World” and is the sixteenth instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Kevin Feige will take on the role as producer for “Thor: Ragnarok” and the screenplay will be by Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost.

“Thor: Ragnarok” will star Chris Hemsworth as the Legendary Nordic God of Thunder and Tom Hiddleston as Loki. There are many possibilities to the plots of “Thor: Ragnarok.” It is being considered important as it sets the stage for “Avengers 3: Infinity War.” The title “Thor: Ragnarok” echoes the end of the world as is said in Norse Mythology. Loki will break free  from his prison and will help Surtur, the Fire Giant, in destroying the world of the Nordic gods. This, in turn, means that the plot is suggesting towards the end of Odin, Heimdall and Loki.

“Thor 3” or “Thor: Ragnarok” is set release on Nov. 3, 2017, and will not get directed by Kenneth Branagh. The filming would begin somewhere in mid- 2016 and the announcement of other cast members, directors will be made towards the end of the summer.

According to IMDb, the plot for this “Thor” instalment will be, “Thor must confront the gods to the gods when Asgard is threatened with Ragnarok, the Norse apocalypse.”
