Marvel Cinematic Universe resident hottie, Chris Hemsworth, dishes out on the current development for the third installment of his stand alone franchise, “Thor: Ragnarok,” and shares how the script is still currently being developed. Read on to know more about the details of this scoop.
Marvel Studios bolstered their fans’ excitement the moment they announced the concrete plans they have of the Cinematic Universe, highlighting the release dates and the titles of their Phase 3. The first two of the planning, “Captain America: Civil War” and “Doctor Strange” are going through the final arrangements towards productions for this year and for 2017, director James Gunn assured his fans that his script for the “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” sequel is going to be different. However, there seem to be no updates just yet for the second Marvel film of 2017, “Thor: Ragnarok.” That is, until lead superhero actor Chris Hemsworth gives out a wee bit of information regarding his stand alone film’s current standpoint.
Hemsworth had a chat with Digital Spy in light of the promotion for his action, thriller flick “Blackhat.” When we has asked about an update for “Thor: Ragnarok,” the “Avengers” hottie nonchalantly expressed how there’s still no script for the film, implying that it’s still under development.
“No, I can’t. But also, there is no script for ‘Thor,’ the next ‘Thor,’ so I have no idea,” answered the Avengers actor. “It’s pretty big.”
With those words, it could be possible that the actor could be hiding something or he’s still in the dark for the plans of the upcoming changes and adventures of his fair-haired Asgardian on-screen counterpart. The plot of the film still hasn’t been disclosed yet and also who would be the one(s) taking the reins for the film. Despite all of that, the actor did give the assuring remark that it’s going to be big.
The ones assigned to pen “Thor: Ragnarok” are Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost, both of which are alums of the Marvel animated universe, with Yost first-handedly co-writing “Thor: The Dark World.” Updates regarding the film’s development are bound to resurface soon enough, and whatever it will be, we can be sure that it will be highly contributory to the plot that will unfold in the Infinity Wars.
“Thor: Ragnarok” is slated for release on July 8, 2017. Following after, “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” on May 5, 2017.
That concludes our update on the script development for Marvel’s “Thor: Ragnarok.” Keep tabs on Movie News Guide (MNG) for more updates on films, celebrities and TV shows.
