Author Seth Grahame-Smith’s fable-novel Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter will be adapted as a movie.
Twentieth Century Fox have bought the rights to make the best-selling book into a movie and will be produced by acclaimed director Tim Burton (Edward Scissorhands).
Famed Night Watch director Timur Bekmambetov has already been working with Burton on the venture and will helm the project.
The book’s plot follows a similar style and format to Grahame-Smith’s other prosperous novel Pride And Prejudice And Zombies, which sees the writer revisit classic works or historical figures using a supernatural perspective.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is being prearranged for a 3D launch in 2012.
