According to E! News, the 90’s hit film will be one of the attractions soon in the theme park that will be established in Dubai. It will also feature “Sons of Anarchy” and “Planet of the Apes.” The expected cost to complete this project is a staggering $850 million. A huge amount indeed fitting for a city of some of the world’s most affluent individuals. This theme park will welcome thousands of visitors starting 2018.

This are all made possible by the joint efforts of Twentieth Century Fox and Al Ahli Holding Group. The  production company allowed to give the franchise rights to the Arab company without asking for any allocation of the ownership at the theme park. Instead of the financial benefits they can potentially gain, they are banking on strengthening their connection to the public, as reported by Variety.

President of Fox Consumer Products, Mr. Jeffry Godsick said in an interview, “This will build a tremendous amount of fan engagement with these brands. There are strong merchandising opportunities and it will allow us to connect with our audiences on an ongoing basis.”

Godsick teased on what can be expected from the theme park.

“We are working on creating an immersive experience that includes motion theater simulators and will allow you to experience what it was like to be on the Titanic in an exciting way.” Godsick.

Are you excited with this news? What do you want to see in Titanic attractions for the theme park?
