Toyota presents its new and bold Camry through a commercial which focuses on parenting A few known football players shared their life experiences and whether being a good dad is something which is learnt or a choice that one should make.
Some believe that the values we inherit from our parents are the values we teach our children. But some oppose this idea, as they say that it is not necessary what you have learnt from your parents is what you teach. Sometimes, a person is in a situation where his or her parents weren’t around to teach good values. It is what you learn in time through experiences or what you choose to become.
Some have bad family experiences, but they don’t want their children to go through the same situation, and so they choose to be better. In the video below, LaVar Arrington says that his father had prosthetic legs, and he cleans gutters so he taught them not to make excuses of not doing things.
Kurt Warner tells us that his father was his great fan, and he was supportive of whatever he chose to do. Even Fred Jackson shares that his father did not talk much, but he showed his love through his gestures like hugging. Meanwhile, DeMarcus Ware says that his father wasn’t around, and he wasn’t a provider.
When their children were asked how can they say whether they dads love them or are proud of them, they responded that they get hugs, kisses and their dads tell them “I love you,” “Good job, son” or “You are the best son that I ever had.”
