David Miscavige, well-known as the person in command for Tom Cruise’ favored religion has apparently been in the receiving end of a torrent of death threats.
TMZ cited that an unidentified man made numerous phone calls to the main number of the Hollywood branch of the corporation-owned religion.
A criminal investigation is in progress to hunt down the said culprit who has made foul-mouthed remarks aimed at the 55-year-old Pennsylvanian native.
Miscavige began receiving death threats in July from the said individual who has now been identified, thanks to the craftiness of the phone operator who kept the suspect on the telephone line for more than two hours. The authorities now have amassed a reasonable amount of information which included the man’s Skype address.
The disturbing telephone calls included such statements as, “Tell David that we are going to kill him,” “We are going to assassinate Mr. Miscavige and every single one of you,” and also “You tell your leader, who is an a*****e and a motherf*****, he is going to be shot pretty soon.”
All the needed data is now held by the LAPD’s Major Crimes Unit which have now isolated their search for a presumed Jewish businessman, albeit no one has been taken in for questioning as of press time.
Miscavige rose to the ranks of Chairman of the Board of Religious Technology Center after science fiction writer and Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard died after years of deep hiding. Miscavige has formed a strong bond with actor Tom Cruise and was the best man in the latter’s marriage to Katie Holmes.
Scientology and its intriguing religious philosophy captivated a majority of Hollywood figures through the years which included Isaac Hayes, Jenna Elfman, Jason Lee, Juliette Lewis, John Travolta and Michael Pena.
Meanwhile, Tom Cruise, as reported recently by HollywoodLife.com, is rumored that he wants to disentangle himself from the divisive church group taking into concern his daughter Suri Cruise. Cruise is acknowledged to have not incorporated the Scientology dogma in her child’s rearing.
