Following the online debut of the “Tomorrowland” trailer after the recent Super Bowl game, Disney sets up their new viral site TAKE ME TO TOMORROWLAND containing some Easter eggs and concept art of the upcoming pic starring George Clooney. Read on for more details on this story.

Disney opens up its new viral site for their latest upcoming pic Tomorrowland which contains the movie’s trailer and a dash of concept art, giving guests a glimpse of the future.

“Tomorrowland” stars “Under the Dome” actress Britt Robertson, playing a bright, optimistic teen from Florida who dreams of the future as she watches launchpads of Cape Canaveral being disassembled. Casey (Robertson) soon finds a mysterious button that, when touched, brings her into a far-flung place in space and time known as “Tomorrowland.” Bound by a shared destiny and scientific curiosity, she meets Frank Walker (George Clooney), a bitter and jaded former “boy genius” who seems to know more about “Tomorrowland” than he wants to tell. Together with Frank, Casey embarks on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space that exists in their collective memory, that is, “Tomorrowland.”

As Hogwarts is to magic, “Tomorrowland” is to science, bringing to life the spectacular ideas of exploration and the future envisioned by Walt Disney himself. “Tomorrowland” depicts a heavy sense of nostalgia and of hope and exploration.

“Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol” helmer Brad Bird is attached to direct the film. Bird is known for his works on Disney Classics such as “The Iron Giant,” “The Incredibles” and “Ratatouille.” “Tomorrowland” is co-written and produced by Bird and Damon Lindelof and stars Clooney as Frank Walker, Robertson as Casey Newton, Hugh Laurie as David Nix, Raffey Cassidy as Walker’s scientific rival, and Thomas Robinson.  Kathryn Hahn and Keegan-Michael Key also star as an eccentric couple who owns the mysterious “Blast From the Past” while Tim McGraw and Judy Greer play as Casey’s parents. The film is scheduled to be released on May 22, 2015, in theatres and IMAX.
