Top PornHub Star Lebanese Mia Khalifa Receives Death Threats [WATCH VIDEO]

Mia Khalifa, PornHub’s most popular adult star, has been receiving death threats from her native Lebanon soon after news of her top-ranked status on the porn site went public.

The 21-year-old Florida-based adult film actress, who has become highly successful in her line of work, recently reached the number one spot on sex video streaming site, PornHub, causing a backlash of insults, disgust and death threats from her home country of Lebanon.

Khalifa, not her real name, has been condemned, not only for her profession, but also because of her tattoos, one of a right-wing Lebanese Christian militant group, and another depicting the first lines of the Lebanese national anthem that she frequently flaunts on her videos and on social media.

Death threats posted on Twitter further denounce her for wearing a hijab (Muslim headdress) while performing sex acts on film, eight of which are featured on PornHub.

We are probably paying the price of living away from our homeland; our kids had to adapt to societies that don’t resemble our culture, traditions and values. Hence, we emphasize that we disassociate ourselves from her actions which do not reflect her family beliefs, her upbringing or her true Lebanese roots. We hope that she comes back to her senses as her image does not honor her family or her homeland — Lebanon. (via CNN)

According to reports, Khalifa, who was born in Lebanon, moved to the United States at the age of seven, married an American in February 2011 and has since been living in Florida with her husband.

Many of her social media detractors, mostly Muslim extremists, proclaimed the shamefulness of her actions and proposed she be fatally whipped, beheaded and even die a slow, agonizing death from AIDS, among many others.

Despite this, Khalifa, the most searched-for porn star on PornHub, remains upbeat and continues to thumb her nose at haters, even going as far as posting a parody image of her as an ISIS prisoner.

“How does it feel to be the most hated arab at the moment?” She wrote on her Twitter account. “Pretty good since @Timeflies wrote a song about me.”
