Hearing about someone being hospitalized can cause a lot of anxiety. So, when Tori Spelling was sent over to the hospital over the weekend, everyone began speculating over her real illness.
On Friday, March 6, Tori Spelling was rushed to the emergency room of the Encino Hospital Medical Center by her husband Dean McDermott. Even though she was reported to be visibly pale and weak, Spelling was well enough on her feet to walk through the hospital door.
Fans immediately took to the social media to post their concerns and wishes for a speedy recovery. All the while, many have been speculating on what may be wrong with her this time. Theories ranged from respiratory infections (like that of her visit last October 2014) to possibly contracting the Ebola virus.
But a representative for Spelling announced via Access Hollywood on Saturday, March 7 that Spelling just had a severe case of migraine and is not much of a major concern after all. Spelling also took to Twitter later that day to confirm her representative’s statement, saying “I wish the media would stop making it so dramatic/scary 4 my family, friends & fans…I have horrific migraines. I’m ALWAYS open about that!”
Last April 2014, the mother of four was also sent to the hospital due to a migraine attack and stayed there for almost a week. In a previous interview, Spelling admitted, “I don’t deal with stress well. My whole life, I would just repress [it] and keep going and no one knew, really. And it would just start coming out. I would be sick all the time – sinus, migraines, everything. I don’t want to keep going on like that.”
However, later that year in October, Spelling was hospitalized again, this time due to having sinusitis, bronchitis, and pneumonia. After some time of bed rest in the hospital, she was deemed okay and was discharged.
We hope that Tori Spelling will have a speedy recovery and stay healthy.
