“Toy Story 4” has been reported to make way for “Cars 3”, pushing forward its initial schedule on June 16, 2017 to June 2018. This spreads out disappointment in fans, as well as the fact that it was all over Twitter. It is making them upset that both are from Pixar and these two are both much awaited too.
“Toy Story’s” writer Pete Docter, revealed that the movie will be focusing mainly on Buzz Lightyear and Woody’s adventure. They are going to save Bo Beep, who has been given away. The friendship of Bo and Woody will also be one of the movie’s highlights, Venture Capital Post reported. Although, Docter cannot say anything about the movie, he added that it will just be the same characters in the same world but it will be simultaneous with the different take it has. Speculations arises that the writer will be having a new twist in “Toy Story’s” franchise history. A new Chapter in the life of the toys is said to be revealed, as they will be having a new owner, Bonnie.
Meanwhile, as we wait for the movie to be released in three years, ABC is said to have released a half hour “Toy Story of Terror” show. ABC Family is the sister channel of Disney Pixar. This journey of Woody and his friends prepares for the “Halloween Special”, shortly after “Toy Story 3” has been released. Bonnie had an expected detour with his grandmother and the characters were haunted with some spooky events, especially when they went missing, NY Daily News reported.
On the other hand, “Cars 3” will be released in June 2016, “Incredibles 2” in 2019, and two more are lined up in March 13, 2020, and June 19, 2020 thereafter, Venture Capital Post reported.
John Lasseter and Josh Cooley will be directing “Toy Story 4”, while Will McCormack and Rashida Jones will be writing the screenplay. Prominent actor Tom Hanks will still be a returning for the role of Woody.
